Le programme audiovisuel est toujours précisément porté sur les modes de représentation lao et sur les modes de transmission. (par exemple le film sur PI MAY montre la fête anarchique de l'eau, ancien rite de purification avant la saison des pluies, recueillant les arts populaires, les arts traditionnels, les rites ancestraux pré-bouddhiques et le théâtre masqué et dansé lao : "le phralak prha lam" version lao du Ramayana Indien) bref un florilège d'exemples mettant en évidence la conception bouddhiste des origines que la création de tout être est dans l'acte du commun.

Invitation – Plateforme des Arts Médiatiques

Le premier workshop organisé à l'ouverture de la Plateforme des Arts Médiatiques à Bandits-Mages proposait une approche des pratiques récentes des technologies des réseaux et la création de groupes de recherche thématiques.
Ce second workshop proposera d'explorer les dynamiques à l'oeuvre dans les projets participatifs et les technologies qui les accompagnent.

Monsieur et monsieur

Les aventures burlesques de deux petits ours « Monsieur » et « monsieur », partis à la rescousse d’une princesse aux allures de poisson, défendant leur nouveau potager contre un bouc bien mal intentionné ou expérimentant l’hibernation au pays des pingouins…

Durant ce second atelier, les enfants ont imaginé et créé des personnages de fils de fer et de laine. Ils les ont ensuite animés le temps d'une battle de danse pour lequel ils ont également travaillé la bande son.

The audio-visual programme is still specifically focussed on the Lao methods of representation and transmission. For example, the film about PI MAY shows the anarchic festival of water, an ancient rite of purification before the rainy season, gathering together popular arts, traditional arts, pre-Buddhist ancestral rites and the Lao theatre using masks and dance – the ‘phralak prha lam’, a Lao version of the Indian Ramayana; in short an anthology of examples highlighting the Buddhist conception of origins, that the creation of every being is found in ordinary acts.

Invitation – Media Arts Platform

The first workshop, organised for the opening of the Media Arts Platform at Bandits-Mages, put forward a view of recent practices in the field of network technologies and the creation of thematic research groups. The aim of the second workshop is the creation of a surveillance and participative action platform concerning the social, political and economic implications of technologies and of cultural practices and technological innovation in the field of arts and media; engaging with diverse means of digital production.

This workshop is open to art students, particularly those from the Centre region, and to artists, researchers and practitioners in the domains concerned, as well as to the general public.

To enable more individual autonomy during the workshop, participants who own their own computer are asked to bring it with them.

During this second workshop, children imagined and created characters with iron thread and whool. Then they animated them the length of a dance battle whose the soundtrack was made by children.
